I have been beekeeping since about 1965 or 66.A friend showed me how to catch a swarm and, from that point on,I was hooked.I have had at least a couple of hives every year since except for the four years I was in the Marine Corps.At one point,while working in Louisiana, I had increased my hive count to 44.At present,there are thirty two hives in my back yard.I do plan some further increase over the next year.There will be a few "how to" articles here along with a jumbled journal of what goes on in the beeyard.
